Karla is an experienced lawyer with more than 12 years working in Intellectual Property, coordinating processes in Costa Rica and Central America with an emphasis in Trademark, Industrial Design, Copyright, and Utility Models.
Additionally, in 2007 she participated as a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Association of Professionals in Intellectual Property (APPICR).
Since then, she has been actively participating in multiple meetings of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI).
Also, she works in the real estate area providing advice on corporate movements, obtaining operating permits, day-to-day consultations of the different departments, preparation, review, and negotiation of commercial, service, and lease contracts.
